DMV Certified Driving Instructor

Job Description

Job Description We are seeking a professional and patient DMV-certified Driving Instructor to join our team. The instructor will provide behind-the-wheel training to student drivers and help them develop safe and responsible driving skills. Candidates must have prior teaching experience and a strong understanding of New York State driving laws and safety regulations. Responsibilities Provide behind-the-wheel driving instruction to students of varying skill levels Teach defensive driving techniques and safe driving practices Prepare students for the New York State road test Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment Track and document student progress and training hours Ensure compliance with all DMV regulations and training standards Requirements Must have at least one year of teaching TLC Class experience Minimum 1,000 hours of driving instruction experience Valid New York State driver's license with a clean driving record Strong communication and teaching skills Patient, professional, and reliable Chinese-speaking a plus Schedule Flexible schedule Weekday and/or weekend availability preferred
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate. Pay is negotiable based on experience and will be discussed during the interview.
Pay:
