QUALIFICATION

Must hold a valid Kentucky Principal's Certificate/Principal's Statement of Eligibility in the area stated above. Have knowledge in high school curriculum and scheduling. Have the ability to implement different teaching/learning strategies to meet individual student differences. Must implement curriculum to increase Postsecondary Readiness, KSA, ACT, KYOTE, Alternate KSA, and ACCESS scores. Must have knowledge/implementation of Kentucky Academic Standards ELA, Math, Social Studies, Science and Arts & Humanities. Must be available to participate in PD training sessions in implementation of Kentucky Academic Standards and Program of Studies in area of Career Technical Education. Knowledge of Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS). Have the ability to implement job description including KY Teaching Standards. Must have knowledge/Implementation to Chair ARC and 504 meetings. Must have knowledge and understanding of Certified and Classified Evaluation process. Willing to participate in non-teaching assignments and extra-curricular activities related to RCHS. Must have the ability to develop positive, professional relationships with students, teachers, administrators and parents. Must successfully complete all required employment forms and applications. Render health services as necessary after appropriate training.
