Wed Sep 9 2026 The Office of Residence Life is seeking a federal aid recipient for student employment. This position will be funded by federal work study dollars; only students that receive financial aid awards can be considered. Questions? POSITION SUMMARY
The Position supports the office by addressing housing and meal plan related questions. In addition, the position provides a high level of customer service through knowledge of university and departmental programming/events, financial literacy/competence and policy enforcement.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Services 1. Learn to operate at basic level and by the privileges provided departmental databases/operating systems. a. Housing.
Cloud b. Facility work order system. 2. Create basic Excel Spreadsheet and/or Google Sheets. General Support 1. Provides front office support by greeting/welcoming and assisting callers, in-person, and visitors. 2. Attend training of the operating systems within the Residence Life Department as requested, attend training as it relates to the Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and will learn how to apply the skills obtained in training to every day job functions. 3. Support departmental wide programming. 4. Other duties as assigned. The university reserves the right to conclude your employment without notice as needs change.
Job Requirements:
Residence Life operates Monday - Friday between the hours of 8am - 5pm. Student staff schedules will be scheduled within these hours of operation. This position may require some weekends, evenings and periods when the University is on break, hours varying during peak times of the year. A minimum commitment of 10 hours a week up to a maximum of 20 hours a week is permitted. Hours in excess of 20 are allowed during weeks with no academic scheduled classes and during the summer break (if not enrolled in any classes).

Shift Information:
This is a student only posting and you must have Federal Work Study money allocated to you in your financial aid package. Shift will vary based on student schedules and the pay is $15 per hour.
