Job Description

To serve as an expert generalist, guiding students into and throughout a successful college experience.
  • This role will be based in a call center environment.

Provides friendly, timely, and accurate customer service and information to students and staff. Helps students navigate onboarding, registration, and college processes. Assesses students' basic needs and interests. Uses a guided pathways approach to help students create or clarify productive educational and career goals. Provides general academic and student support through technology and on campuses. Represents the college at events and open houses. Performs other duties as assigned. Associate degree and six months of work experience in a college, customer service, or administrative working environment and/or 3 years of experience in a college, customer service, or administrative working environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Worker Characteristics:
  • Detailed knowledge of college processes relating to students
  • Familiarity with student services offered by the college

  • Ability to provide consistently high-quality customer service
  • Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to work productively with many different case management teams for individual students
