Typical Qualifications Typical Qualifications Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution; master's degree preferred. Current North Carolina Office of EMS Paramedic certification or National Registry Paramedic certification North Carolina credentialed Level II EMS Instructor at the Paramedic level. Five years' full-time field experience as a paramedic in the delivery of out-of-hospital emergency care. Two years' full-time experience as an instructor in an EMS program in a post-secondary institution. Must be able to obtain CPR, ACLS, and PALS Certification Instructor within 12 months of date of employment. Two years of full-time supervisory experience. Knowledge of and experience with current versions of the National EMS Scope of Practice, National EMS Education Standards, and national accreditation for EMS programs. Skilled in the use of current office and classroom/lab technologies. Ability to work effectively and collegially with colleagues. Excellent oral and written communication skills.- You must answer Supplimental Questions for application to be accepted Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in healthcare-related field preferred
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS
Proficient with using Colleague and Moodle, Canvas, or similar platforms. Familiarity with Watermark, WebAdvisor, MS Office, Zoom, and Google Drive applications.
