Overview We are seeking passionate and dedicated 4th grade and 7th grade English Language Arts (ELA) teachers to inspire and guide students through their literacy journey. 4th grade position located at 202 13th Ave E, Bradenton, FL 34208 7th grade position located at 8231 Lindbergh Ct, Sarasota, FL 34243 Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards for 4th and 7th grade ELA, incorporating differentiated instruction to meet various learning styles. Integrate learning technology to enhance instructional delivery and student engagement. Foster a positive classroom environment through effective behavior management strategies and classroom organization techniques. Assess student performance regularly using formative and summative assessments, analyzing data to tailor instructional modifications that support individual growth. Collaborate with faculty members on curriculum development, instructional strategies, and school-wide initiatives to ensure cohesive educational experiences. Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, behavioral concerns, and ways to support learning at home. Utilize educational technology tools for lesson planning, interactive activities, and assessments to promote active learning. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education, English or a related field; teaching certification for elementary or middle school levels or Letter of Eligibility issued by the FLDOE is required. Previous teaching experience at a TITLE I school is a plus. Strong knowledge of curriculum implementation, standardized testing preparation, and instructional modifications for diverse learners including those with autism or special needs. Proficiency in online platforms, learning technology tools, and integrating IT into lesson plans effectively. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage students from various cultural backgrounds and collaborate with colleagues. Demonstrated classroom management skills coupled with the ability to adapt lessons based on student learning styles and performance data.
