Job Summary Join our vibrant team as a Before & After-School Care Provider, where your enthusiasm and dedication will create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children during critical after-school hours. In this role, you will facilitate age-appropriate activities, ensure child safety through vigilant supervision, and support each child's social and emotional development. Duties Supervise children during before- and after-school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Plan and implement engaging youth programs, including outdoor activities, arts and crafts, sports, and educational games that promote childhood development Manage classroom behavior using effective behavior management techniques to maintain a positive environment Provide first aid and CPR in emergency situations following established protocols to ensure immediate care for injuries or health issues Facilitate youth group activities that support social skills, teamwork, and personal growth Collaborate with school staff, parents, and team members to coordinate schedules and communicate children's progress or concerns Maintain accurate records of attendance, incident reports, and activity participation Qualifications Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is highly preferred Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development best practices Certification in First Aid, CPR, AED operation, and familiarity with first aid protocols required; ongoing training provided if necessary Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle diverse behaviors effectively Prior experience in youth development programs or camp settings is a plus Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while supervising children engaged in outdoor activities Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with children, parents, and team members Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team coordination or supervision roles Join us in making a meaningful difference in children's lives by providing a safe, fun-filled environment that encourages growth and discovery.
