Valid Michigan Elementary Teaching Certificate, required Knowledge of elementary student expectations including academic, social, emotionaland behavioral milestones Experience or knowledge of Reading, Writing and Math Workshop models Experience utilizing student data to drive instruction in all subject areas Strong commitment to educating students Ability to create lesson plans and implement instructional strategies to address the needsof students in various classroom settings Ability to be flexible and adapt to schedule changes Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively and collaboratively withcolleagues, administrators, students and parents Proficiency in Google Suite applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, etc.) and onlinesourcing tools with functional knowledge of internet use for search platforms Ability to withstand the strain of teaching Must demonstrate reliability and punctuality, with a strong record of consistentattendance. Regular and dependable presence during school hours is essential.
