K-5 Classroom Teacher

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 2nd and 5th grade Classroom Teachers to inspire and educate young learners . In this role, you will create engaging lesson plans, foster a positive classroom environment, and support students' academic, emotional and social development. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards in literacy, math, science, social studies, and other core subjects. Create an inclusive classroom environment that promotes faith, respect, collaboration, and curiosity among students. Use diverse teaching methods, including learning technology tools and hands-on activities, to meet the varied needs of learners. Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing preparations. Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive behavior management techniques to foster disciples in Christ. Collaborate with colleagues and families to support student success. Incorporate faith in your daily planning. Skills Proven classroom experience working with elementary-aged children in diverse settings. Strong knowledge of childhood development theories and early childhood education best practices. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators. Proficiency in using learning technology platforms and educational software to enhance instruction. Skilled in lesson planning in core areas and hands-on learning. Ability to manage classroom behavior proactively while fostering a nurturing environment. Experience in curriculum development. Current Nebraska Department Of Education Certification
