Job Qualifications:

Maintain a high professional standard consistent with the mission of St. Gregory the Great Academy and the teachings of the Catholic Church Develop and implement lesson plans that demonstrate a thorough understanding of the curriculum and instructional practices of the Academy Implement and model developmentally appropriate classroom practice, including communication, social/emotional well-being, and positive guidance strategies Implement classroom management strategies that promote student responsibility, problem-solving skills, and student accountability Demonstrate the ability to supervise students in a safe, nurturing, positive, and developmentally appropriate learning environment Work as a team player with designated teaching team Bring enthusiasm, flexibility, and a "can-do" attitude to the position All applicants must fully meet the minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Education with evidence of coursework/experience in the specified areas New Jersey (or out of state equivalent) teacher certification (standard certificate or certificate of eligibility) Diocesan and Academy Safe Environment requirements must be completely met This position requires teaching
