General Education Teacher - Kindergarten We are seeking a dedicated General Education Teacher for a contract opportunity at Berkeley Preparatory Academy in Summerville, South Carolina . Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging, standards-based instruction to kindergarten students. Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment. Develop lesson plans aligned with state and district standards. Assess student progress and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs. Communicate effectively with families, school staff, and administrators. Maintain accurate student records and classroom documentation. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and other school activities as required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Active South Carolina Department of Education (SC DOE) teaching license required. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Ability to collaborate with colleagues and support student success. Previous elementary or kindergarten teaching experience is preferred but not required.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive weekly pay 40 guaranteed billable hours per week Day shift schedule Orientation hours are fully paid Overtime paid after 40 hours worked in a week, where applicable
