Full Job Description Lead Elementary Teacher Location:

Full-time We are seeking a Lead Teacher for a growing private school in Dallas. The school currently serves kindergarten through fifth grade and plans to expand through eighth grade by 2029. The school combines a strong academic foundation with hands-on learning. Students explore literature, apply what they learn through projects and spend regular time outdoors. Gardens, animals and other parts of the campus are woven into the school day. The Lead Teacher will guide an early elementary classroom, plan engaging lessons and work closely with other teachers and school leadership. This position is a good fit for an educator who enjoys classroom structure while making room for students to ask questions, explore ideas and build independence. Responsibilities Plan and teach lessons that support academic and developmental growth Use hands-on activities and connections across subjects to deepen learning Set classroom and individual goals, track progress and communicate with parents Maintain an organized, welcoming classroom and prepare for outdoor learning Collaborate with colleagues and participate in team meetings and professional development Support field trips, lunch, carpool, dismissal and other school activities Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; a degree in education or a related field is preferred Teaching certification or progress toward certification is a plus Experience managing a classroom and building positive relationships with young children Strong communication and organizational skills A flexible, proactive approach to working with students and colleagues Interest in Reggio Emilia-inspired education is welcome; prior experience with it is not required Compensation and Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience.
