Conduct child development assessments to monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Engage in active classroom management to maintain a respectful and productive learning space. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones through meetings and written updates. Incorporate early intervention strategies for children with special needs or developmental delays in compliance with mandated reporting laws. Qualifications Proven experience working with young children in educational or childcare settings, including preschool or toddler care. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques. Experience with special education practices and early intervention programs is highly desirable. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing professional development in early childhood education is preferred. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and administrators. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures related to early childhood assessment tools.
