High School English Teacher :

Prepare appropriate curriculum and annual plan to submit to administration for approval Instruct High school students in the subject of English Apply the curriculum as prepared and approved Maintain student records of attendance, discipline, growth, etc. Create and post lesson plans Assign and grade assessments Prepare and administer tests to evaluate students' progress Maintain discipline in the classroom Promote character in the school Issue reports to inform parents of progress Communicate regularly with parents to offer positive reinforcement regarding social and academic achievements of the students Additional Duties as assigned

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in English or ELA Education and 1 year of experience as English Teacher at middle or high school level. Teaching experience must be full-time as a teacher of record in a general education setting. Teachers with a current Oklahoma teaching certificate will receive priority consideration
