This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being around children and likes staying busy. You'll help teachers with everyday classroom needs, assist students, help keep shared spaces tidy and organized, and pitch in wherever an extra set of hands is helpful. We are offering flexible part-time shifts:

Morning:

8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

Afternoon:

12:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.

Pay:

$25/hour What You'll DoClassroom Support Help teachers prepare materials for lessons and activities. Cut, glue, laminate, sort, organize, and assemble classroom materials. Make copies and help prepare worksheets and other materials. Help organize classroom supplies. Assist with classroom projects and activities. Help students with simple activities when requested by the teacher. Step in when an extra adult is helpful. Student Support Help welcome students and support their daily routines. Assist with transitions between classrooms and activities. Help supervise students during recess, lunch, or other activities as needed. Engage positively with students and help them feel supported and included. Communicate with teachers when a student needs additional assistance. SOCHH & Classroom Care Wipe down tables and commonly used surfaces. Help keep classrooms and shared spaces neat and ready for use. Help clean up after activities, projects, lunch, and other busy times. Return supplies, toys, games, and materials to their proper places. Help keep outdoor and common areas tidy. Pitch in with everyday tasks that help SOCHH run smoothly. General Support Help teachers and staff with special projects and activities. Assist with SOCHH events and classroom preparations. Help organize supplies and materials. Take on a variety of small tasks throughout the day as needs arise. Who We're Looking For The ideal person is: Warm, friendly, and comfortable around children. Physical Requirements Comfortable working outdoors and in the sun for portions of the day. Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods. Able to move around campus throughout the day and participate in active tasks. Able to lift and carry 25 pounds or more when moving supplies, bins, equipment, or other materials. Able to bend, reach, lift, and perform routine physical tasks associated with classroom and campus support.
