Job Description

Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine at Mass General Brigham / Massachusetts General Hospital seeks a scientist interested in a career in academic medicine research. This is an excellent opportunity to work with an outstanding group of clinicians, researchers, educators and trainees, and to interact with the world-class clinical and research programs at the Massachusetts General Hospital and within the Mass General Brigham system as a whole. The Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine provides comprehensive care for patients with all types of pulmonary disease and critical illness with active subspecialty programs in pulmonary hypertension, cystic fibrosis, lung transplantation, interstitial lung disease, and interventional pulmonology. There are opportunities to collaborate with clinical and translational research programs in the Division and to mentor fellows. The successful candidate will specialize in trial design, EHR data extraction, computational phenotyping, database design and management, data analysis and manuscript preparation. Candidates must meet the requirements for appointment at the rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor of Medicine at the Harvard Medical School with experience, training, and achievements in addition to teaching activities.
