Job Description
Job Summary:
The College of Health Sciences at Alvernia University is seeking an adjunct, gross anatomy instructor to contribute to the Master of Medical Science- Physician Associate program.
Essential Functions:
- Teaching in the Physician Associate Program;
- Contribute to the planning, development, and evaluation of anatomy lecture and laboratory sessions within the Physician Associate Program, ensuring the curriculum aligns with the learning outcomes of the program;
- Promote adequate standards of linguistic expression in writing and speech;
- Carry out lectures, labs and responsibilities effectively;
- Prepare examination questions as well as grades for a course or portion of a course;
- Meet classes according to published schedule;
- Commit to working in a multicultural environment that fosters diversity;
- Promote Franciscan ideals and adherence to the Mission of the University as demonstrated by the University Ideal Characteristics.
