Job Description Summary The LaFetra College of Education (LFCE) at the University of La Verne is seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented Program Manager for Clinical Experience and Outreach. This position provides leadership in the planning, implementation, and oversight of clinical experiences for credential candidates, ensuring alignment with LFCE's mission, vision, and strategic priorities. The Program Manager will not only coordinate the day-to-day operations of clinical practice but also oversee the college-wide vision of clinical experiences across programs, ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment of processes. A key responsibility of this role is direct outreach to school districts to secure placements for credential candidates, strengthening partnerships and ensuring candidates are provided with high-quality and developmentally appropriate experiences. The ideal candidate is highly organized, skilled in program management, and able to build strong, collaborative relationships with faculty, staff, students, and district partners. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. At least 3 years of experience in higher education administration, student placement, program coordination, or a related field. Demonstrated exceptional organizational, logistical, and project management skills with a proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects and deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in professional communication with external partners. Proficiency with database systems, CRM software, or other platforms for complex scheduling, relationship management, and data tracking. Demonstrated ability to build consensus, navigate complex organizational structures, and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders (e.g., faculty, district personnel, students) across multiple programs. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in education, educational leadership, administration, or a closely related field. Familiarity with teacher preparation programs, credentialing pathways, or clinical/fieldwork coordination. Direct experience with California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) standards and compliance documentation, and/or other accreditation bodies (e.g., WASC). Experience in building, negotiating, or maintaining formal partnerships or MOUs. Ability to analyze placement data and contribute to program assessment and continuous improvement efforts. Experience presenting ideas and building consensus among diverse groups. Collaborate with faculty, staff, and district partners to strengthen the quality and variety of placements. Ensure clinical practices support program learning outcomes and align with LFCE's mission. Percentage Of Time 40% Specific Duties District Outreach and Placement Coordination Serve as the primary operational liaison with school districts to secure placements for credential candidates. Build, maintain, and expand district partnerships to ensure a diverse range of high-quality clinical experiences. Work directly with program chairs, faculty, and supervisors to ensure placement needs are met across programs. Monitor placement logistics to ensure candidates are placed in supportive environments that meet credentialing requirements. Percentage Of Time 30% Specific Duties Outreach and Communications Develop and maintain digital and print communications such as newsletters, resource guides, and program websites. Organize student-facing events including orientations, workshops, and information sessions. Represent the college, alongside academic leadership, in meetings with external partners and community stakeholders. Percentage Of Time 20% Specific Duties Operational Support Support the Assistant/Associate Dean and department/program leadership by managing the collection, analysis, and reporting of critical clinical placement data.
