$12.00-13.00/hour Description of the
Position:
To provide general office assistance to the TRIO McNair Scholars Program and supporting first-generation and low-income students at St. Olaf.

Communication skills: Work with McNair staff and communicate professionally with students, staff and faculty in-person and via email and social media.

Utilize personal strengths to achieve organizational goals.

Manage several different duties and responsibilities at one time.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist the Director and Associate Director with office tasks and workshop preparation Regularly enter data and assist with website updates Promote McNair events and resources on social media Assist with McNair Newsletter creation Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications (Education/Experience/Skills):
Required:
Strong communication skills Strong clerical abilities such as editing documents, data entry, and experience with Google Suite, Word and Excel Ability to conduct both independent and collaborative work. Ability to establish rapport with college and community professionals Skills in taking initiative, flexibility, meeting deadlines, and problem-solving
Preferred:
