The Ministry Director directs all ministry program areas, including international and domestic outreach events, the evangelism training programs, the media ministries program, and oversight of the Outreach and Training Department. Plans, supervises, and directs the long-term goals of ministry based on the RSA strategic plan.
Impact of Work:
Duties ensure the success of multiple ministry programs, which affects the organization's ability to reach strategic goals and influences the number of people and locations RSA is able to reach with the Gospel. Represents RSA in the domestic and global Christian community.
Responsibilities:
International Outreaches Directs the international outreach program: Serves as the primary contact for all international decisions. Provides strategic direction to the Executive Team to determine outreach/festival locations. Oversees research and evaluation of potential countries, contacts, and ministry partners. Supervises Outreach Coordinators who plan and execute outreach events. Reviews and approves timelines, budgets, training, and festival committee needs. Ensures translation of RSA materials for planning and training purposes. Evaluates issues and executes actions during emergencies or changing circumstances. Evaluates outreach effectiveness and debriefs ministry partners. Develops long-term multi-year plans for international outreaches. Serves as Outreach Coordinator for select countries as needed. Training Program Directs the evangelism training programs: Oversees execution of annual goals for evangelism programs. Evaluates program impact and makes strategic adjustments. Oversees recruitment and selection of evangelists. Reviews and approves all training manuals. Participates as an instructor in the Evangelist Equipping Program. Media Ministries Program Directs the media ministries program: Oversees execution of TV programming relationships. Oversees development and implementation of digital evangelism initiatives. Evangelism Collaboration Builds and maintains relationships with key partners: Establishes contacts with churches and evangelical organizations. Attends conferences to expand knowledge and relationships. Develops and monitors alliances with partner evangelists. Creates strategic domestic evangelistic partnerships. Encourages participation in outreach opportunities and mission trips. Management Supports ministry programs through planning, supervision, and budgeting: Collaborates with Executive Team on annual work plans. Expands ministry impact and reach. Implements policies aligned with regulatory requirements. Executes department goals in line with strategic plan timelines. Manages Outreach & Training Department employees and contractors. Develops and controls the annual Outreach & Training Department budget. Collects and analyzes outreach data for reporting to leadership. Provides staff updates and marketing information. Serves on Executive Team and attends Board meetings. Communicates clearly and works closely with the President Experience & Education 5+ years managing, implementing, and evaluating ministry programs. 2+ years supervisory experience. 2+ years managing volunteers overseas. 2+ years managing committees and ministry partnerships. Experience developing and managing program budgets. Substantial knowledge of working with different cultures. Personal Is a Christ-follower in agreement with the RSA Statement of Faith.
