Job Description
Partnership Operations and Institutional Coordination Administer the operational lifecycle of international partnership programs, including implementation, recurring term operations, renewal support, assessment, modification, and closeout.
Serve as the primary administrative and operational representative for international partnerships.
Receive and triage partner requests, concerns, opportunities, and operational issues, including matters identified by the Faculty Liaison.
Determine the responsible internal office, approval pathway, documentation requirements, dependencies, and response timeline for each matter.
Coordinate with Academic Affairs, Enrollment Management, Admissions, Registrar, Finance, Marketing and Communications, Institutional Research, legal/contract review, and other offices.
Maintain responsibility for timely institutional responses and follow-through, without exercising authority reserved to another University official or governance body.
Communicate approved University decisions to partners or provide approved information to the Faculty Liaison for communication. Program Administration and Controls Maintain the master international-program calendar and ensure that each partnership subprogram has a documented workflow, responsible owners, deadlines, and escalation paths.
Coordinate course scheduling, cohort registration, rosters, faculty-contract initiation, academic calendars, grades, evaluations, syllabi, graduation, and other recurring program requirements with authorized offices.
Coordinate partner billing and invoicing information with Finance; the Director does not independently establish financial terms or approve accounting treatment.
Maintain the official inventory of partnership agreements, amendments, approvals, contacts, obligations, renewals, reports, and open commitments.
Monitor operational performance, compliance obligations, partner deliverables, student-service concerns, and institutional risk indicators.
Support accreditation, assessment, site-visit, contract-renewal, and program-review activities. Partner Service and Relationship Support Establish service expectations and response protocols for assigned partners.
Work closely with the Faculty Liaison to preserve relationship continuity, understand partner concerns, and coordinate appropriate University responses.
Ensure that relationship-based communications do not create unauthorized academic, contractual, financial, admissions, or operational commitments.
Plan and coordinate partner meetings, delegations, institutional visits, and ceremonies in collaboration with the Analyst and other offices.
Assessment and Leadership
Supervise, prioritize, and evaluate the work of the International Programs Analyst & Department Coordinator.
Use enrollment, financial, operational, student-outcome, and partner-performance information to recommend continuation, expansion, modification, or suspension of programs.
Provide regular briefings to the Dean and other senior leaders regarding performance, risk, unresolved matters, and required decisions.
Collaborate with the Recruitment Director on program capacity, recruitment priorities, launch readiness, applicant pipelines, and partner-based enrollment Authority and Role Boundaries The Director may act within formally delegated administrative authority but may not independently approve curriculum, academic exceptions, contracts, financial commitments, tuition or scholarship terms, personnel actions, admissions exceptions, or institutional policy.
Matters outside delegated authority must be referred to the Dean, VPEM, ALEC, Finance, or another authorized office.
The position has no SEVIS, PDSO, DSO, immigration-advising, or immigration-document authority. Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervises the International Programs Analyst & Department Coordinator and assigned support personnel.
