Legal Studies Description SUMMARY:

Provide in-person/FLEX or online instruction for Legal Studies courses. FLEX instruction allows students to choose on a daily basis whether to attend in-person or virtually through the D2L Brightspace virtual classroom. Minimum Qualifications Juris Doctor degree and at time of hiring, a licensed attorney. Be knowledgeable about the paralegal profession and committed to paralegal education and utilization. For Paralegal courses, previous experience working with or as a paralegal. Previous college teaching experience in the field. Previous experience with D2L Brightspace or other Learning Management systems preferred. Previous online instruction required where appropriate Excellent oral and written communication skills. Commitment to teaching a student body diverse in ability, age, ethnicity, race, and sexual orientation. Must successfully pass a criminal background check. Supplemental Information

STATUS/SALARY

This is a part-time faculty position with a salary to be determined by placement on the adjunct faculty salary schedule.
