Library Administrative Assistant
Job Description
The Library Administrative Assistant plays a key role in keeping library operations running smoothly. This position supports financial, administrative, cataloging, and helping the library provide excellent service to the community. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and enjoys working with numbers, records, and library materials. Qualifications A minimum of two years of library experience. High school diploma or equivalent; some college or accounting/bookkeeping experience preferred. Comfortable using Microsoft Office, spreadsheet programs, and library management systems. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Professional and friendly demeanor with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
