« back to jobs list Library Circulation Assistant, Evening/Weekend Part-Time / Posted August 26, 2026 Summary The library is looking for a customer service-focused individual to work up to 15 hours/week in the evenings and on weekends throughout the academic calendar year. Responsibilities Assist library patrons in locating and utilizing library materials and services. Check out Ursuline, OPAL, and OhioLINK materials; process notifications and items using the library's integrated system. Perform other circulation tasks as needed. Refer library visitors and callers to appropriate staff and services in the library and elsewhere on campus. Provide basic assistance using library equipment, including computers and printer/scanner/copiers. Monitor activity in the library during evening and weekend hours. Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, staff, and community patrons. Qualifications Prefer some college and/or one (1) year experience in library or customer services. Ability to use Microsoft Office and Excel; some experience with integrated library systems preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Consistently available to work evenings and weekends. Must be reliable and responsible.
