Job Description
Assistant Manager
- Zarrow Regional Library The Tulsa City-County Library (TCCL) has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and customer-service oriented Assistant Manager at the Zarrow Regional Library.

Zarrow Regional Library- 2224 W 51 St.
Salary:
$4,717.00 /Month Status:
Full Time Competitive pay and a full benefit package (medical, dental, retirement, paid time off) are offered with this position.Schedule:
Monday 12 pm- 9 pm Tuesday
- Friday 8 am
- 5 pm Rotating every 5th Saturday 8:30 am
- 5 pm (Friday off) Occasional Sundays 1 pm
- 5 pm Key qualifications for this role include: Master's Degree in Library Science required; Three or more years of library experience required; One year of supervisory experience preferred; Supervises, trains, develops and evaluates a high performance team organized to meet the goals and objectives of the regional library; Works with branch manager and team leaders in interviewing, selecting, training, supervising, and evaluating staff; Serves as an intermediary in helping to resolve the most challenging issues or situations with members of the public; Under the supervision of the Branch Manager, conducts staff meetings, communicating management decisions, policies, and changes/corrections to activities, programs or processes; Assists in preparation and administration of the regional library's annual budget; Assists in supervising the condition and security of the physical building and advises appropriate personnel when corrective action is necessary; Assists with meeting room booking process, particularly when clarification of policies and procedures is required; Managers hired/promoted after 5/1/2022 must complete the appropriate TCCLU Leadership Academy Certification Program within 18 months of starting the position, unless already certified/enrolled.

Work occasionally requires stooping or bending. Occasional light lifting, such as three or four reams of paper, four or five books, or other materials (up to 20 pounds) may be required. Work environment involves occasional minor discomforts from exposure to less than optimal temperature and air conditions. The job may involve dealing with modestly unpleasant situations, such as occasional exposure to office chemicals and/or extensive use of video display terminalsBenefits
