Job Description
Responsibilities include:
Working closely with the Center Director to ensure the center is running smoothly and efficiently. This is the equivalent to being a General Manager for the business Learn The Tutoring Center's proprietary educational programs and methods Supervise classroom operations/staff and ensure that all instructors adhere to The Tutoring Center's proven system Analyze student progress and recommend appropriate instructional strategies and techniques Prepare student progress reports and discuss results with parents/client families and teachers Maintain frequent communication with families and local education professionals Administer TTC Diagnostic Assessments, Progress Tests and Progress Reports as needed Assist in the hiring, training and development of new instructors Maintain program records and materials, data entry and student database curation Ideal applicants demonstrate the following: Passion for tutoring K-12 students in reading, writing, and math Genuine care for children and a love of learning Math expertise up to and including higher-level math (Trigonometry & Pre Calculus preferred) and strong computer skills Positive attitude Thrive in a fun, open, energetic atmosphere Ability to build good relationships with diverse groups (parents, students, teachers, etc. from a variety of backgrounds) Adept at multitasking in a fast-paced environment Initiative and focus on improvement Creative thinking/problem solving Strong organizational skills Motivated to meet deadlines Most importantly, you must be committed to integrity, quality, enthusiasm, exceptional service, and teamwork In addition, you must meet the following requirements: Bachelor's degree or currently working on a degree Available Monday - Thursday from 2:30 - 7:30 pm (this is a part-time, non-exempt position working approximately 20 hours/week) Ability and willingness to complete the franchise training program Pass a comprehensive background check AND a Math Assessment Test What's in it for you?
