A full-time opportunity for a certified Math Teacher is available, focusing on Algebra I instruction for the duration of the current school year through May 2027. This contracted position is based onsite and offers a dynamic setting to engage with learners and make a meaningful difference. Qualifications & Experience Valid Louisiana Math Educator Certificate authorizing instruction at the high school level Demonstrated expertise in teaching Algebra I, with a genuine interest in student growth and academic achievement Strong classroom management abilities and effective communication skills Comfort with building rapport, fostering a positive learning environment, and adapting instruction Previous experience as a general education math teacher in a high school setting is highly valued Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging Algebra I lessons aligned with state curriculum standards Assess student understanding and tailor instruction to support all learners Collaborate with faculty and staff to promote student success and school-wide goals Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student growth Participate in professional development and contribute to a collegial team culture This is a full-time, contracted opportunity offering 35 hours per week in a supportive, well-resourced educational environment.
