MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institute of higher education. Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate (secondary). Certification must be in 6-12 Math Must possess the ability to deliver effective classroom instruction and management Must possess a strong desire to work with students and their parents Must possess a willingness to work as part of a building team for the improvement of instruction Must possess a willingness to adapt to continuous change Must possess excellent communication skills when engaging with students, parents, and colleagues Knowledge of or previous work with online curriculum is preferred Punctual, regular, & consistent attendance is required. Serve as Teacher of Record.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Provide high quality instruction to 6th - 8th and 9th - 12th grade students in Math courses, both in person and online Manage and adjust the online course content for multiple course and multiple grade levels Collaborate with life coaches and interventionists working with students Maintain required records Participate in building achievement team meetings Other duties as assigned.
