Job Overview We look for teacher assistance or college student from education major, To teach elementary school math and ELA during after school hours, Our hours are 3-6pm, Mon - Fri. Duties Assist students with homework, and extra worksheets for English language arts, mathematics Implement engaging lesson plans tailored to individual learning styles and needs Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment that promotes student participation and confidence Collaborate with teachers and staff to monitor student progress and adapt instructional strategies accordingly Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain focus and order during tutoring sessions Requirements Prior experience working with children or in an educational setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a passion for helping students succeed are essential Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students from diverse cultural backgrounds and varying learning needs Demonstrated understanding of teaching English language arts, math, Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a positive attitude This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their teaching expertise while making a tangible difference in students' lives.
