Overview We are seeking passionate and innovative Math Instructors to foster a love for mathematics, and support students of various ages and backgrounds. You will play a vital part in guiding learners through math concepts, helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals. Duties Serve students with a wide variety of needs and abilities. Assess students to determine their needs and instructional modalities that best fit each particular student and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Deliver engaging in person and online instruction and lessons across a broad spectrum of math topics. Assess student progress regularly and communicate to parents and students accordingly. Support students with specific needs by applying appropriate differentiated instruction strategies. Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative lesson plans when applicable. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance metrics, and instructional activities in compliance with institutional policies. Qualifications Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students of different ages—including children, teenagers, and adults—and diverse learning needs. Excellent communication skills and reliability are essential. Comfortable delivering online instruction using digital tools and virtual classroom software, when appropriate. Calm and encouraging demeanor is required. Background in mathematics, education and/or special education highly desirable. Familiarity with test preparation techniques for standardized exams or academic assessments is helpful. Must be comfortable with teaching math for grades K-8, comfortability with high school math and beyond is advantageous. Benefits Choose your own hours, as long as a few key needs are met. $18.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 6.0 - 20.0 per week
