Vernon ISD is seeking a dedicated and student-focused Geometry Teacher for Vernon High School. The ideal candidate will provide engaging instruction, foster critical thinking, and support student success in mathematics.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) for Geometry Deliver instruction that meets the diverse learning needs of students Use data-driven practices to assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment Collaborate with campus staff, parents, and administration to support student achievement Participate in professional development and campus activities Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university Strong classroom management and instructional skills Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
