Position:

This is a full-time position serving students in grades 6-8. The WRVMS math program emphasizes conceptual understanding, problem-solving, and real-world application of mathematical thinking. Our approach prioritizes building strong mathematical foundations while fostering perseverance, flexible thinking, and confidence in all learners. Teachers work collaboratively to design and implement instruction that meets the diverse needs of middle school students and aligns with proficiency-based learning practices.

Support and Professional Development:

We are committed to supporting teachers with the tools and training needed to deliver high-quality math instruction. An incoming math teacher will receive ongoing professional development aligned with best practices in mathematics education, including opportunities to collaborate with colleagues across the White River Valley Supervisory Union. We value continuous growth and provide structures for team planning, instructional coaching, and reflection.

The Ideal Candidate Will:
