A Mathematics Professor teaches foundational mathematical ideas, truths, and methods to students through a combination of classroom instruction and assignments at colleges, trade schools or other institutes. May assist or lead in the creation of the curriculum to be taught. In addition to instruction, they may assist or lead in research initiatives relating to their field.
