The Cedarville University School of Science and Mathematics seeks Assistant/Associate Professor of Mathematics candidates. Rank is commensurate with experience and credentials. Eligibility for a tenure-track appointment will be determined based on institutional needs and candidate qualifications at the time of hire. Applicants must have a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching and the ability to integrate faith and learning. Primary teaching responsibilities are in Mathematics and include calculus, differential equations, statistics, and upper division undergraduate mathematics. Expectations also include academic advising and committee work at the school and university levels. Employment is subject to the University's verification of credentials along with other information required by law and Cedarville University policies, including the successful completion of a background check. H-1B sponsorship may be available for this position depending upon legal and business considerations. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. This position, based in Cedarville, Ohio, is pending budget approval.
Position Requirements:
Ph.D. in Mathematics or near completion Documented successful teaching experience is highly desirable Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team member Excellent written and oral communication skills Commitment to biblical integration of faith and science in and out of the classroom Qualified applicant must be a born-again Christian Qualified applicant must agree with and be willing to abide by Cedarville University's Doctrinal Statement, Community Covenant, and General Work Place Standards.
