00 Preferred Student Classification Sophomore, Junior, Senior Nature & Purpose of Position The student employee will be assigned grading duties to support faculty that teach courses from the calculus sequence and precalculus courses. Assignments will be collected from faculty 1-2 times per week with an expected return time of 3-4 days. The total time spent marking the assignments will be approximately 12-15 hours per week based on the length of assignments to be graded. This will not include exams. Additionally, the student employee may be added as an "Assistant" on the appropriate Blackboard courses for the purpose of recording scores on each graded assignment in the gradebook. This position will be active during the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters while classes are in session. This position will end at the end of the Spring 2026 semester. All duties must be completed on campus within the designated space provided by the department. Other Requirements for the Position Qualifications for these positions are: a) 3.0 cumulative GPA b) Enrollment as an undergraduate student at SHSU for at least two semesters c) Grades of A or B in
MATH 1420, MATH
