35 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications School experience English Working with students Ability to follow instructions Clerical experience Full Job Description Under the direction of the afterschool program Site Supervisor, monitor and supervise the daily activities of elementary-aged children in the daily afterschool program, both indoors and outdoors. Staff members will lead and implement developmentally appropriate art, STEM, sports, and team-building activities. Staff members will provide a safe, caring, positive, and engaging learning environment for students. Staff will support the preparation of materials and supplies for daily activities. Schedule (19 hours/week): Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday

About Us:
Saratoga Union School District is a medium-sized school district located near San Jose, CA. We are a professional and supportive group of individuals, and our goal is to provide a safe, fun, and engaging after-school program for elementary school students.
Qualifications:
o Interest in helping elementary school students to improve their social and communication skills o Fundamental understanding of English and general education. o Experience working with students in a classroom, daycare, playground, or group setting is helpful.
Ability to:
o Relate to children and work cooperatively with other staff, parents, and school community members in the course of daily responsibilities o Maintain the highest level of confidentiality in all matters relating to students o Understand and follow oral and written instructions o Communicate clearly to students, staff, and parents o Use clerical and computer skills as required in the specific classroom setting. o Stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout a shift.
Please Note:
This position is paid monthly. Employees receive a paycheck at the end of the month.
