Math Intervention Teacher Kuumba Academy Charter (KACS), a premier arts-integrated K-8 public charter school, seeks a Math Intervention Teacher to inspire and empower students to reach their highest potential.About Kuumba Academy Charter School:

Responsibilities of Kuumba Academy Teachers Include but Are Not Limited to: Academic Achievement and Character Development- Create a positive, achievement-oriented and structured learning environment
- Motivate students to achieve high academic and behavioral standards
- Invest students and families in the development of academic success and Kuumba Core values
- Utilize Math based interventions and data to drive instruction.
- Design and implement unit and lesson plans in collaboration with grade/subject teams
- Teachers will provide differentiated instruction to all students to ensure that all students meet their growth goals as measured by internal assessments and MAP.
- Administer and score Math assessments with fidelity Professional Growth and Development
- Collaborate with instructional coaches, grade level leads and school team to continuously improve instructional, culture-building and leadership skills
- Participate enthusiastically in all professional development, team planning, and data analysis meetings
- Attend monthly Student Success Block Grant meetings according to the schedule provided by the department of education
- Function as a school wide partner in helping to increase student achievement and character for all students.
- Math Intervention Teacher will be evaluated using the Teaching Excellence Framework. Skills and Characteristics
