Job Summary:
- We are seeking a dedicated Lead VPK Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for childhood development and education, with experience in curriculum development and behavior management.
Duties:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans in line with the curriculum
- Provide a nurturing and safe environment for children
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and students
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques
- Conduct assessments to monitor student progress
- Incorporate physical education and tutoring into the classroom
- Oversee classroom activities and ensure a positive learning environment
Experience:
- Previous experience in a daycare, private school, or similar setting
- Strong background in childhood development and classroom management
- Proficiency in curriculum development and implementation
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse groups
Skills Required or Preferred:
- Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues
- Experience in daycare or childhood education settings
- Knowledge of childhood development principles
- Familiarity with curriculum development practices
- Proficiency in behavior management techniques
