The Maui Family YMCA is looking for a dependable and energetic Group Leader to join our A+ After-School Program at Hā'ikū Elementary. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with elementary-age children and is comfortable taking a leadership role within a group. Group Leaders help organize daily activities, support counselors, maintain a safe and positive environment, and keep kids engaged throughout the afternoon.

What You'll Do:

Lead games, activities, projects, and daily group routines Help supervise and engage elementary-age students Support a safe, caring, and inclusive environment Assist with transitions, homework time, recreation, and program activities Provide leadership and support to other program staff Be a positive role model for children We're Looking for

Someone Who Is:

Responsible, dependable, patient, and positive Comfortable leading groups of children Able to communicate and work well with a team Energetic and willing to participate in activities with kids Available during after-school hours 16 years of age or older Why Work With Us?
