Role:
We are seeking a School Aged Childcare Staff to join our team at Clay County YMCA in CLAY. As a School Aged Childcare Staff, you will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for children in our care. You will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote physical, social, and intellectual growth. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of attendance, medication administration, and incident reports. Your role will be critical in ensuring that our program meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience working with school-aged children Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Preferred Qualifications:
CPR / First Aid certified
Responsibilities:
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, social, and intellectual growth Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in our care Maintain accurate records of attendance, medication administration, and incident reports Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and needs Collaborate with other staff members to ensure that our program meets the highest standards of quality and safety
Skills:
As a School Aged Childcare Staff, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and other staff members. You will also need to have strong organizational and time-management skills to plan and implement activities and maintain accurate records. Additionally, you will need to have a strong understanding of child development and be able to create a safe and nurturing environment that promotes growth and learning. Finally, you will need to be able to work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure that our program meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
