Responsibilities Lead and supervise children during after-school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Plan, organize, and facilitate engaging youth activities including arts and crafts, outdoor games, educational lessons, and team-building exercises Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management techniques and positive reinforcement strategies Implement first aid protocols promptly in case of injuries or emergencies, maintaining accurate incident reports Collaborate with colleagues to develop age-appropriate curricula that support childhood development and youth programs' objectives Maintain a clean, organized activity space while adhering to safety standards such as CPR and AED operation requirements Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, or concerns in a professional manner Skills Strong classroom management skills with the ability to maintain order in active settings Experience working with children across diverse age groups; familiarity with special education needs is a plus Knowledge of first aid procedures, CPR certification, AED operation, and first aid protocols Proven ability to supervise children effectively in both indoor and outdoor environments Background in childcare, daycare experience, babysitting, or camp leadership enhances your candidacy Experience facilitating youth group activities or teaching young children in educational or recreational settings Excellent team leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents Demonstrated understanding of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques Ability to adapt activities for different age groups and developmental stages

Pay:

$24.80 - $29.87 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 per week
