Monday-Friday, 7:15 AM-4:15 PM Revised Position Overview Flaming Sword Christian Academy is seeking a dedicated, creative, and compassionate High School Teacher to lead a self-contained classroom serving students with varying academic and learning needs . This position offers the opportunity to teach in a small, supportive Christian school environment where teachers can build meaningful relationships with students and provide highly individualized instruction. The teacher will provide instruction across core academic subjects while adapting curriculum, assignments, and instructional strategies based on students' abilities, educational goals, and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), when applicable. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with students at different academic and developmental levels within the same classroom , providing whole-group, small-group, and individualized instruction. Creativity, flexibility, patience, strong classroom management, and the ability to differentiate instruction are essential. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, our self-contained classroom allows the teacher to meet students where they are, build on their strengths, and help them make meaningful academic, behavioral, and social progress.
