The MS ELA Teacher should be motivated, dynamic, organized and have the ability to work in diverse teams. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide high quality English Language Arts instruction to assist students in reaching their full academic potential Plan, prepare and deliver appropriate lessons using a variety of presentation methods to keep students engaged Maintain records and communicate students' progress and development Create and maintain a positive classroom environment that promotes good behavior and adheres to PLP's Code of Conduct Candidates must hold a

B.A./B.S.

degree in teaching from an accredited institution or related field of teaching, and NC Certification in teaching in the appropriate subject area.
