Immediately Job Description Pine Lake Preparatory, a North Carolina top rated public charter school, is currently seeking an 8th Grade Middle School English Language Arts Teacher. The MS ELA Teacher should be motivated, dynamic, organized and have the ability to work in diverse teams. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide high quality English Language Arts instruction to assist students in reaching their full academic potential Plan, prepare and deliver appropriate lessons using a variety of presentation methods to keep students engaged Maintain records and communicate students' progress and development Create and maintain a positive classroom environment that promotes good behavior and adheres to PLP's Code of Conduct Candidates must hold a
B.A./B.S.
degree in teaching from an accredited institution or related field of teaching, and NC Certification in teaching in the appropriate subject area.
