GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Butler County Alternative Education Programs seek qualified and compassionate Teachers to join our dedicated team in educating at-risk youth in Math, English, Social Studies, or Science in an alternative setting. As a teacher in our programs, you will play a crucial role in positively impacting the lives of young individuals by providing them with educational opportunities and support.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree Valid Ohio Teaching License Exemplary knowledge of pedagogical best practices and curriculum Experience in differentiating instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students, including those with various academic backgrounds and abilities. Ability to utilize restorative practices and trauma-informed teaching approaches to create a supportive educational atmosphere. Knowledge of effective behavior management strategies to maintain a positive and focused learning environment. Experience in implementing engaging and culturally responsive lesson plans that align with state standards. Proven ability to model a positive image in dress, behavior, language, and attitude Proven leadership and organizational skills Willingness and ability to work as a team member Ability to communicate effectively with staff, students, and community. Proven ability to foster collaborative efforts Good organizational skills and detail-oriented Physically fit with the ability to perform restraints when needed.
