Job Description
Primary Purpose:
Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of the students in the program.Qualifications Education/Certification:
A high school diploma or equivalent.Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of thematic learning, behavior management practices and child development stages is essential.Experience/Requirements:
1 year of experience working in a licensed child care center or school district-sponsored after school program is preferred. Must be able to read, use curriculum resources, manage a small group of students, and have a dependable work history.Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Supervision and guidance of students Plan activities/camps Ensure a safe environment Share upkeep of facility Meet all required deadlines pertaining to planning and supplies Attend training classes Maintain positive reinforcement program implemented by Coordinator Effectively communicate with parents and studentsWorking Conditions:
This person must be able to lift 40 pounds of either supplies or children, if needed.Note:
