As an instructor at Dawson Music Academy, you'll enjoy dynamic facilities, passionate students, and collaboration with other teachers. We're passionate about providing instructors with the resources they need. We'll partner with you to communicate with students and parents. We believe the best music education occurs when we all work together! Dawson Music Academy is currently seeking talented music instructors to teach private lessons in piano, voice, violin, and drums. By adapting lessons to each student's unique abilities and interests, an Academy Instructor nurtures each student's God-given talents. Through building mentor relationships with students, an Academy Instructor provides a positive learning environment for students while also ministering Christ's love to students and their families. During the onboarding process, Dawson Music Academy instructors indicate their teaching preferences, including student age and playing level, so that we can connect teachers with students who are a good fit for their teaching style. In weekly lessons, instructors incorporate a variety of styles as they adapt lessons to each student's interests and abilities. With over 300 students ranging in age from 4 years old through adults, the Academy offers a positive learning environment for quality music education. Duties Included Teach consistent weekly lessons to students Teach students proper technique and theory skills, utilizing a variety of repertoire options Manage student lesson scheduling Record weekly student attendance in online attendance program Maintain positive student retention rates Ensure that students receive quality lesson time by starting and ending at scheduled lesson time Demonstrate professionalism during all student and parent interactions Compensation & Hours Part-Time Hours Schedule determined upon hiring Compensation varies based on applicant education & experience Specific compensation details shared at interview Dawson Music Academy provided the following inclusive hiring information:
