Job Description
The Louisiana Academy of Performing Arts is currently accepting applications for music teachers at our Mandeville and Covington campuses for Fall 2026. We are seeking substitute and regular faculty members. As our academy continues to grow, we are seeking additional talented, passionate, and down to earth music educators who are eager to share their craft with our community. We are currently interviewing candidates for opportunities in our Piano, Voice, Violin, Guitar, and Early Childhood Music Departments.
Compensation:
Based on experience/degree and is competitive with other private music schools.Requirements:
Bachelor of Music Degree or Equivalent Professional Experience Ability to conduct weekly private and group lessons and arrange lesson plans Outgoing personality Ability to make each lesson fun and enjoyable for students of all ages Ability to teach in two or more programs is a plus!
