Band Program Instructor (Rock/Pop and Jazz Ensembles) Part-Time | Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday Afternoons/Evenings Home Sweet Home Music Lessons - The Sound Studio Home Sweet Home Music Lessons is one of New Jersey's premier music schools, proudly serving over 1,000 students with a team of 45+ exceptional instructors. We are excited to launch The Sound Studio , our brand-new band program, and are seeking an enthusiastic, organized, and inspiring Band Program Instructor to help build something special from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to become a key part of an established, highly respected music school while playing an integral role in launching an exciting new program for young musicians. Responsibilities Lead and direct rock/pop band rehearsals for students ages 7-17. Coach students on ensemble playing, musicianship, performance, and teamwork. Help students prepare for live performances and showcases. Foster a positive, encouraging, and engaging rehearsal environment. Communicate professionally with students, families, and our administrative team. Collaborate with Home Sweet Home Music Lessons on curriculum development and program growth. Qualifications Strong background in contemporary music performance. Ability to coach small ensembles consisting of guitarists, bassists, drummers, keyboardists, and vocalists. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Reliable, organized, energetic, and passionate about teaching. Previous teaching or directing experience preferred but not required. Multi-instrumentalists are encouraged to apply.
