Job Description
Job Summary We have 200 piano students and 650 students overall. Candidates must have at least a Bachelor's degree in Piano Performance. Teachers are paid in full whether their student makes it to their scheduled lesson or not. Teachers are W-2 employees, so WMA pays $2.91 per hour toward their FICA taxes on top of their normal hourly pay. As a result, the pay is in reality $40.91 per hour. We take care of all scheduling matters, including cancellations and rescheduling. Teachers only need to be concerned with teaching. Make-up lessons are limited to just one hour per month for each teacher. We have 12 studios with 9 quality pianos, including a Yamaha baby grand and a Kawai baby grand. Yamaha, Kawai, Steinway and Young Chang are the names that make up all of our pianos. Selected candidate will become part of one of the most highly-qualified music faculties in metropolitan Cleveland. Our teachers are experienced instructors with the majority having advanced degrees in their instrument. You can view our current piano faculty at this link.
