We are looking for a Music teacher. We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and dedicated Music Teacher to join our school community. We are looking for an educator who inspires a love of music, builds students confidence, and creates an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
Position OverviewThe Music Teacher will plan and deliver developmentally appropriate music instruction while helping students explore rhythm, melody, movement, singing, instruments, and musical expression. The ideal candidate brings positive energy to the classroom and enjoys helping students of varying abilities discover and develop their musical talents.

Position OverviewThe Music Teacher will plan and deliver developmentally appropriate music instruction while helping students explore rhythm, melody, movement, singing, instruments, and musical expression. The ideal candidate brings positive energy to the classroom and enjoys helping students of varying abilities discover and develop their musical talents.
Responsibilities
- Plan and teach engaging, age-appropriate music lessons aligned with school curriculum and learning goals
- Introduce students to a variety of musical styles, traditions, instruments, and concepts
- Provide opportunities for singing, movement, instrumental performance, composition, and creative expression
- Create a welcoming classroom environment where all students feel comfortable participating
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback and encouragement
- Prepare students for school concerts, performances, assemblies, and other special events
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, administrators, and other faculty members
- Maintain and organize musical instruments, equipment, and instructional materials
- Communicate effectively and professionally with students, families, and colleagues
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school community activities as appropriate.
- Bachelors degree in Music, Music Education, Education, or a related field preferred
- Teaching certification or licensure
- Previous experience teaching music to children or school-age students preferred
- Strong musical knowledge and proficiency in one or more instruments
- Ability to engage students with different learning styles, abilities, and levels of musical experience
- Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
- Enthusiasm for working collaboratively as part of a school community.
